Welcome to my page. My name is @abearcalledpaddington<\/a> and my assistants run this website. They kindly gave me a little space to make my own.<\/p>\n

My Instagram is filled with quotes, Haikus, my thoughts, my friends and the people I meet while I travel.<\/p>\n

In 2016 @therealmrmule<\/a> and @ltulipa<\/a> \u2018borrowed\u2019 the family teddy to take on a trip around Europe. Like the gnome from the film \u2018Amelie\u2019 they posted picture postcards on Instagram much to the surprise of the family. When they started to travel full time in 2018 they decided to start the @abearcalledpaddington account dedicated to travel but through the eyes of a small curious bear. Four years later they have travelled through Europe, the Balkans, Asia, the Americas, back to Europe and now South East Asia.<\/p>\n

The @abearcalledpaddington<\/a> account is about learning about different cultures, different foods and beautiful destinations he finds along the way.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf we are kind and polite, the world will be right\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

is a quote the account lives by. It is respectful, non denominational, non political but eager to learn about the world.<\/p>\n

Pictures are taken from his perspective, which can be quite entertaining for passers-by who often ask what is happening and why is the bear having his photo taken. We explain \u2018It\u2019s for Instagram\u2019 and show them the account which is greeted with great smiles and interest in the pictures and stories.<\/p>\n

We travel to learn, with open minds and open hearts, often in places less visited but also to those famous sights for the \u2018gram. We have met many people around the world. Sometimes we are shown what local life is like and are given a unique perspective of the country or city. Many times other \u2018plushie\u2019 accounts want to met up for a photo opportunity and meet the people behind the account.<\/p>\n

@therealmrmule<\/a> and @ltulipa<\/a> describe themselves as \u2018assistants\u2019 who help Paddington with travel, photos and stories, and all the comments he receives. It\u2019s like a full time job. They can spent up to 4 or 5 hours each day taking and editing photos, writing content and replying to comments.<\/p>\n

We have also worked with Paddington & Co Ltd and their PR company Carousel Ltd to create social media content, videos, stories and more.<\/p>\n

Below is the first picture taken of me! I was bought on Portabello Road in London in 2010 by my assistants bonus Dad. In 2016 I joined @therealmrmule<\/a> and @ltulipa<\/a> for their Euro Road Trip. Since then I have traveled through Europe, SEAsia and a few other places too.<\/p>\n
